Overwatch Finally Adds Echo and It's Playable NOW

Overwatch has finally released its final hero Echo, a character many expected to appear in the game earlier due to the robot's appearance in that Ashe/McCree animated short that a lot of fans really enjoyed. This probably means that Blizzard will soon be working hard on Overwatch 2, though that game doesn't have a release date yet. Still, it's good of them to release one more hero for players so here's hoping she's loved by all.

Echo is the 32nd character in Overwatch so this game has had one hell of a roster if we do say so ourselves. While this writer would have preferred it if this were a fighting game, the fact of the matter is, this is an incredibly popular online shooter and we're sure that players will flock over to the sequel. That game won't be coming out anytime soon, at least according to Blizzard, so it will be interesting to see if people still flock to the title.

With a sequel on the way, we aren't too surprised to know what Echo will be the last hero for this game. Considering how many characters are already in the title, we can't wait and see how that improves over the original. Overwatch 2 is going to have a story mode, which should make a lot of people happy since critics felt like they should have implemented more story to this title.

It doesn't matter if you have a PS4, Xbox One, PC, or Nintendo Switch, Echo will be hitting Overwatch on all of those platforms now.
