Captain Marvel seems to be doing well, gaining a ton of positive reviews with a few mixed ones added here and there. The movie seems to be a typical MCU experience, which is what most of us expected, though anyone tired of that winning formula may find it a bit dull.
But what about the original Captain Marvel? DC's Shazam is coming out next month but early reactions to the DCEU flick are popping up and fans will be happy to know that critics have been pretty positive. This is great news and we can't wait to see the movie, along with its eventual Rotten Tomatoes score.
As can be seen below, critics think that the movie is pretty funny and is unlike other DC movies before it, including Aquaman. Granted, Aquaman is when DC decided to do their own thing in a lighter way, though some would argue that it started with the mediocre Justice League but we shouldn't bring that movie up.
Captain Marvel is now showing in theaters, so check it out and judge it for yourself. Shazam comes out on April 9.
