EA Releases Teaser for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Trailer

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming out in two months and fans don't really know how to feel since the gameplay we've seen differs from what gaming journalists have witnessed. Footage that we've seen implies that this will be a linear action-adventure game, which isn't the case since others have claimed that this will be a more open game ala Metroid Prime or Batman: Arkham Asylum.

We're getting a new trailer this week and EA has decided to release a teaser for it. That's right, a teaser trailer for a full-length trailer was released, which is sadly a thing these days.

The teaser is only 10 seconds but does tease one interesting thing about the game; someone swinging a red lightsaber. Considering how this is set a few years after Revenge of the Sith, there's a chance that this could be Darth Vader or maybe even Darth Maul, though the latter doesn't seem likely since it's not his signature weapon.

Expect more of this villain in the full trailer, which does make the game slightly more exciting. Granted, Darth Vader is one of the most oversaturated villains in media but a fight against him would be cool, even if it wouldn't make much sense within the canon. Then again, Marvel could always release a comic book tie-in that explains this.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming out on PS4 and Xbox One on November 15.
