EA Delays Star Wars Battlefront 2’s Highly-Anticipated Battle of Scarif Update

Star Wars Battlefront 2 gamers are in for some disappointment because it looks like the game's Battle of Scarif update is being delayed the second time around.

EA might have promised to release the Battle of Scarif update in the middle of April, but now that we've reached that point in time, EA has revealed yet another delay in the new patch for Battlefront 2.

Taking to Twitter, EA decided to announce the new release date for the Battle of Scarif update, saying that fans should expect the patch to begin rolling in later in the month of April.

"Attention players: the Battle of Scarif update in #StarWarsBattlefrontII and its accompanying Community Transmission will be delayed to later in the month of April. Thank you all for your patience and support, we're excited to share more news soon," EA announced in its tweet.

As disappointing as the news is, fans can't entirely blame EA for the setback. The company is still probably trying to adjust to working from home.

When EA announced the first delay, the videogame publisher explained that the development team just recently had to shift from working in the office to working from home to comply with the requirements of the COVID-19 lockdown.

The team is still probably adjusting to the challenges of working from home.

For gamers who haven't been following the latest Battlefront 2 news, the upcoming Battle of Scarif update is going to bring the Supremacy mode into the Age of Rebellion. Heroes vs. Villains and Co-Op are going to get new locations, new heroes, and new villains. Instant action will finally include the Age of Rebellion.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
