Shin Hyun-soo stars in Duty After School as Lee Chun-ho, a lieutenant and platoon commander of Class 3–2.

Initially, he is a firm character towards the students. But eventually, he starts to warm up and care for them more than anyone else.

Hyun-soo is famous for his other Kdramas Welcome to Waikiki, Hello, My Twenties! 2, and My Golden Life.

Im Se-mi stars as the caring homeroom teacher of Class 3-2, Park Eun-young. She sacrifices her life to protect her students from the mysterious spheres floating in the sky. She is also not afraid of standing up to the government for her students' welfare.

Se-mi is famous for appearing in other Kdramas like True Beauty, The Empire, Shopaholic Louis, and The Worst of Evil.

As for the students, the cast starts off with Kim Ki-hae, who stars as the timid Kim Chi-yeol. He is an introverted guy who has a crush on Lee Na-ra (played by Choi Moon-hee).

Ki-hae is a new actor who has starred in one other project: The Witch: Part 2. The Other One.
