Dungeons & Dragons Reveals The Wild Beyond the Witchlight Adventure

Wizards of the Coast has announced the next Dungeons & Dragons campaign adventure, which is set in the mysterious and whimsical Feywild. The Wild Beyond the Witchlight is a new full-length Dungeons & Dragons campaign adventure book set in Feywild, and Wizards announced it as part of the Dungeons & Dragons "Weekend of Legend Lore", a week-long marketing event promising announcements every day. Only the standard cover by Tyler Jacobson and alternative cover by Hydro74 (shown below) have been revealed, so we don't have much details about it yet. However, fans should expect next month's two-day streaming event co-hosted by G4, D&D Live, to reveal more.

The book has been listed on Amazon, and according to its description, it will feature "new characters, monsters, mechanics, and story hooks suitable for players of all ages and experience levels."

The Wild Beyond the Witchlight will be D&D's first formal campaign into the Feywild, the current home to many fairies and fey creatures, and the original home of elves. Based on the standard cover (shown above), it looks like the campaign will have a connection to Ravenloft, the campaign setting featured in this year's Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft. The standard cover reveals a big top tent of what appears to be a carnival, and one of the characters in Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, Isolde, previously ran a carnival that functioned as the entrance to the realm of the archfey Zybilna. Isolde eventually traded roles with a couple of shadar-kai and discovered herself traveling between Ravenloft domains with her new band of performers, but D&D recently hinted that Isolde's original carnival was still wandering....somewhere.
