Dungeons & Dragons Designer Releases Warlord Class for Fifth Edition

Dungeons and Dragons is still one of the most popular tabletop games around, if not the most popular. It's been decades but the game is still going strong, thanks to plenty of updates, shows like Critical Role, and celebrity endorsement, among other things. While it can be hard trying to schedule a game with friends, given how long sessions are, it's always a grand time when everyone comes together when killing a dragon in some dungeon.

Robert Schwalb is an experience designer for DnD, taking part in a number of projects for the tabletop game, including Player's Handbook, Monster Manual, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica and Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes in addition to designing A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying Game for Green Ronin and his own Shadow of the Demon Lord RPG. He's pretty well-known in these parts so fans will be happy to see his design for the Fifth Edition's Warlord class.

It's an impressive design to be sure and is why people like this franchise so much. Yeah, it had that one movie that no one liked (or everyone liked because it was so bad it was good) but that aside, the game remains untouched and is beloved by nerds everywhere.

There are a number of ways you can get into Dungeons and Dragons, so if you're interested in some roleplaying, take that jump. Fans can pick up the Fifth Edition for the game now.
