Dune Logo is Officially Shown and It’s Better Than Most Movies

We've all been looking forward to the upcoming Dune reboot, especially since director Denis Villeneuve is working on it. Anyone who has seen his work on Prisoners or Blade Runner 2049 knows that he is an awesome director and is clearly one of the strongest aspects of Dune. We finally have our first look at the epic reboot and now we have its logo, which is actually pretty darn compelling, which can't be said about most logos.

Most logos are just shiny and nice but this Dune logo is interesting because the letters all look the same, just placed differently enough that you can tell what they're supposed to be. It is really nice and we have to give massive props to those people in marketing who came up with this. There's a part of me wants to credit director Denis Villeneuve since he's such a unique creator but we'll have to wait and see.

Scheduled for a December 18 release, the Dune reboot is currently safe from the Coronavirus epidemic, which is good to hear. We're all hoping that this virus subsides by then because staying at home has been quite the bore and things are much worse for those who are sick or can't stay at a home. Honestly, I can't wait for normalcy to come back so we can watch this weird movie.

Dune is currently scheduled for a December 18 release. It stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Stephen Henderson, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.
