Dragon Ball Super Volume 16 is Now Available

Dragon Ball Super Volume 16 is finally here!

Dragon Ball Super's Granolah the Survivor Arc of Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou's popular manga serise is almost over, and it looks like the upcoming chapter will finally wrap up the story after we've seen Goku, Vegeta, and Granolah defeat Gas in the last month's action-packed chapter.

But before Dragon Ball Super Chapter 87 releasese later this months, fans will be able to get their hands on the English version of Dragon Ball Super Vol. 16, which features four chapters of the Granolah the Survivor Arc. This is all before Gas of the Heeter Force unleashes his full power and before the conclusion of the flashbacks with Goku's father, Bardock.

The official description of Dragon Ball Super Vol. 16 reads:


Granolah is the last of the Cerealians, a people who were all but wiped out by the Saiyans and Freeza’s army many years ago. When he learns that the long-lost twin to the Dragon Ball that the old Namekian Monaito keeps in their home has been found, Granolah steals it and makes a wish that will allow him to start his quest for revenge against the Saiyans to become the strongest being in the whole universe! Dragon Ball Super Chapter 87 is set to release on Aug. 20. Shueisha hasn't announced the next arc of the manga series, and Toei Animation hasn't announced any plans for the anime's potential return.
