Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is one of the most highly-anticipated anime films coming next year. The film was originally announced at this year's San Diego Comic-Con at Home, and a full trailer was released last month at New York Comic-Con. Now, one producer is teasing the movie's epic visuals.
During a recent live-stream for Super Dragon Ball Heroes, producer Norihiro Hayashida shared a message for the fans. Hayashida, who's also the acting producer of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, teases the anime movie's spectacular visuals.
"Now, as you all know, the much-anticipated new movie Dragon Ball Super: Superhero will be released in 2022," he wrote. "This movie will feature new production techniques and will be filled with spectacular visuals, so please look forward to it!"
As we've already seen in the SDCC teaser and the full trailer, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will use innovative animation techniques we don't normally see in a typical episode of the anime series. Of course, Hayashida is careful not to reveal anything too specific, but what he said will surely raise up the excitement for the fans of Akira Toriyama's next shonen film.
Not much is known about the plot of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, but expect its story to take place after the events of Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, but before the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai Tournament. The NYCC 2021 panel for the movie also revealed that the Red Ribbon Army and Broly will play a role in the story of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The clip also teased Pan's Super Saiyan training.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is scheduled to release in Japan in 2022, but Toei Animation hasn't confirmed an exact official release date for Japanese theaters and other regions worldwide.
