New Dragon Ball Super Merch Teases Mysterious Characters


Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is coming in a few months, featuring the story of Gohan, Piccolo, and other Z-Fighters battling against the new two new androids of the Red Ribbon Army, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, while Goku and Vegeta are taking care of other matters out of Earth. Toei Animation has already revealed the various characters that are set to appear in the highly-anticipated anime film, including Krillin, Pan, Bulma, Korin, and Dende, but a couple of mysterious characters have been blacked out in the new merch. This could mean that the movie will have some fun surprises that could hype fans of Akira Toriyma's popular shonen franchise.

Twitter user DBSChronicles recently shared photos of plastic cups seal containers featuring Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero characters, including Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, and the Red Ribbon Army's two new androids. However, as you can in the tweet below, two character panels have been blacked out, making fans wonder who the other characters could be.

Some fans are already speculating that these characters could appear in the movie: Cell, Android 21, Jiren, and Broly. Who do you think are the two mysterious characters blacked out here?

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is set to release in Japanese theaters on April 22, 2022. A North American release date hasn't been announced yet, but expect Toei Animation announce release dates for the remaining regions soon.
