Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Director Shares New Art of Gohan and Piccolo


ro Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero recently made headlines when the special panel for the upcoming shonen film released the new trailer and confirmed the official theatrical release date. The feature-length film will arrive next spring and bring Gohan to the forefront with Goku and Piccolo. The Red Ribbon Army are back with new android models known as Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, and it will be up to the Saiyans and their friends to stop the villainous organization. Now, a new artwork for Gohan has surfaced, and fans are hyped to see the young Saiyan become as badass as he was back in Dragon Ball Z's Cell Saga.

The new artwork was illustrated by Chikashi Kubota, the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero animation director who worked as a key animator for Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

As shown above, Kubota made this new visual to get us hyped for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The art features Gohan and Piccolo in color as they prepare to fight. When the animation director shared the visual on Twitter, Kuboto said he wanted to make the cast proud, and that he will work hard to make it the best in the world.

As revealed in the trailers, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will feature unique 3D animation style that we haven't seen in previous Dragon Ball movies, so expect the movie to hype fans with its spectacular action and intense fights.
