This weekend, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will soon hype fans when Toei Animation reveals more details about the upcoming anime movie in Jump Festa 2021. While Shueisha is releasing new manga chapters monthly, the studio is working hard on the anime ahead of its major return. Akira Toriyama's shonen franchise is getting ready to release the new movie in 2022, and now, the first batch of special action figures gives us a look at the film's key characters.
Twitter user DBSChronicles shared a photo for the first set of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero figures from Tamashii Nations ahead of Jump Festa. The four-piece collection reveals that Gohan is in the front, proving that he will play a significant role in the film.
As you can see, Goku's son is leading the charge, and he's dressed in his purple gi, which is similar to the look he had during the Cell Saga back in Dragon Ball Z days, and fans are excited to see the character shine once again.
Surrounding him are Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo. Goku and Vegeta are wearing their usual outfits with these figures, and Piccolo has his dark purple gi. Fans will be pleased to see Gohan and Piccolo play important roles to the anime's story again.
