With Dragon Ball Super: Broly coming out soon, fans are curious about what comes next when it comes to the series future. Reports came about the new Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc, which has the Galactic Patrol taking the old Kaioshin from Majin Buu. Many of us assumed that this would make a returning Kid Buu the villain of the arc but a new promo image revealed an entirely new foe for Goku to face.
In this image below, we see Goku with Broly, Jiren, and a goat-looking person no one has ever seen. This character seems to be the new villain for the Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc and could even be the prisoner in question, though no other details were given. Still, you have to give them credit for giving us fans an enticing teaser like this.
This goat-looking fellow will probably be a really strong person for Goku and Vegeta to face, though it would be really fun to see him not just be physically strong. It would be nice to have a villain who is menacing but can't blow up planets but that's not what Dragon Ball Super is about these days.
As we wait for this arc, fans do have Dragon Ball Super: Broly to look forward to. This film will introduce Broly to the main canon, complete with a brand new backstory and an awesome new look. He appears to be more sympathetic than the previous version, while also keeping his ferocity and strength.
Dragon Ball Super: Broly comes to North American theaters in January.
