The Tournament of Power was a sensational way to end Dragon Ball Super. While the weekly anime will be done for a while, there is a new movie coming out in December and everyone is fairly excited to see it. We've only had one teaser trailer and one official image thus far, with Toei Animation more than happy to exploit the former.
A "new" poster for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super movie has been released, though it does feature that same image of Son Goku with his old-school Power Pole. However, the image now has a background and it appears to be the same one seen in the teaser trailer, where Goku does battle with a brand-new Saiyan.
Series creator Akira Toriyama has stated that the film will tackle a new story about the Saiyans. Toriyama himself will be writing the story and providing the character designs, so fans have a lot to be excited about. Add the gorgeous animation seem from the teaser and it's easy to see why there is so much hype about the 20th Dragon Ball film.
The Dragon Ball Super film is set for release on December 14.
