Dragon Ball Super Chapter 84, titled A People's Pride, was finally released on Viz Media to show shonen fans how the battle against Gas of the Heeter Force unfolds. The villain is now the Strongest Warrior in the Universe thanks to a wish granted by the dragon after the Heeters gathered the seven Dragon Balls in Planet Cereal. Now, we get to see Goku and Vegeta unleash their most powerful transformations yet against Gas.
Having realized what Saiyan pride is all about after seeing Bardock's memory in Planet Cereal 40 years ago, Goku and Vegeta decide to team-up once again in order to defeat Gas. Thanks to Monaito healing them, they're able to recuperate and transform to their most powerful forms yet. For Goku, it's the perfected Ultra Instinct form, and Vegeta has his Ultra Ego form.
This is the first time Dragon Ball Super showed Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta together in the same fight, and it looks like they now have a fighting chance to defeat Gas. Despite their incredible power-ups, it looks like Gas is easily able to evade their attacks and redirect a huge ki ball that Goku and Vegeta formed together with their ki blasts.
It's exciting to see both Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta team-up, but they just don't look as impressively powerful as many fans hoped. However, this battle is not over yet, as the end of the chapter shows Vegeta telling Gas that damage is nothing but fuel to him, and that he just keeps getting stronger.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 85, which is set to release next month, will likely show us more of Ultra Ego Vegeta's powers, but hopefully, we see a powerful fusion between him and Ultra Instinct Goku.
