Dragon Ball Super Chapter 84: Pride of the Warrior Race will soon release its official English version on Viz Media soon, but several pages from the highly-anticipated chapter have already leaked online. Now, Shonen Jump has shared a preview of one of the latest manga chapter's first pages, revealing the end of Bardock's flashback as well as his son's reaction to seeing the memory of his father.
Last month's chapter of Dragon Ball Super showed us how Bardock defeated the villain Gas of the Heeter Force, the space crime syndicate behind the death of Granolah's mother and the main antagonists of the Granolah the Survivor Arc. Thanks to Monaito and Bardock's scouter that preserved his memory, Goku and Vegeta is able to see what Bardock experienced forty years ago in Planet Cereal.
Shonen Jump's preview of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 84 reveals that Bardock returned home after defeating Gas, reuniting with Gine and their son, Goku, who was still a baby. Goku reflects at this moment as he prepares for his next fight against Gas.
Of course, this memory is expected to have major implications to Goku's next battle with Gas, who's now the Strongest Warrior in the Universe thanks to the wish granted by the Dragon Balls the Heeters gathered. It looks like Bardock's legacy will inspire Goku to realize what Saiyan pride is about.
Spoiilers for Dragon Ball Super Chapter 84 have already been leaked online, revealing that Goku and Vegeta will team-up together once again in order to defeat Gas's strongest form yet. We also see the return of Goku's perfected Ultra Instinct and Vegeta's Ultra Ego transformation, but will their strongest power-ups be enough to overpower Gas?
