Dragon Ball Super: Broly has already broken box office records worldwide and made over $100 million but the film also received critical acclaim thanks to its excellent animation and its compelling storyline with Akira Toriyama's official addition of Broly and Gogeta to the series canon. Of course, fans want to see it again, and now, we know when the Blu-ray/DVD and digital release for the anime film will be released.
Funimation has revealed that Dragon Ball Super: Broly will be available on April 16, 2019, with the tagline: "Bring home the box office berserker!"
The date on the individual pre-order pages and on various retailers still show the release date as December 31, 2019, but that will probably be updated soon. This is definitely one of the best anime films to own. It's a great film that shows the rebooted history of the Saiyan race. It brings Broly's character into a new light and it features a badass fight scene that fans love.
Synopsis of Dragon Ball Super Broly:
"A planet destroyed, a powerful race reduced to nothing. After the devastation of Planet Vegeta, three Saiyans were scattered among the stars, destined for different fates.
