Dragon Ball Super: Broly hasn't confirmed an appearance of a fusion form yet but there are rumors floating around that Gogeta, one of the fused forms between Goku and Vegeta, will appear in the upcoming film. Thanks to a fan-favorite animator, however, fans just got a Gogeta teaser.

A Twitter user shared an update about Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and it showed that animator Yoshihiko Umakoshi appeared on a new Niko Niko broadcast, and that's when he talked about the anime franchise. Umakoshi said that he's busy working on Dragon Ball right now and that he's focusing on Gogeta.

"I was helping out on Dragon Ball and practicing [drawing] Gogeta," the artist said.

After some digging, fans confirmed that the live broadcast happened and can be found via Nico Video, but the stream is currently not available to replay right now.

If Gogeta ends up actually showing up in this film, this would be the first time the fusion form will be introduced in the official Dragon Ball canon.

"This is the story of a new Saiyan. Earth is peaceful following the Tournament of Power. Realizing that the universes still hold many more strong people yet to see, Goku spends all his days training to reach even greater heights. Then one day, Goku and Vegeta are faced by a Saiyan called 'Broly' who they've never seen before. The Saiyans were supposed to have been almost completely wiped out in the destruction of Planet Vegeta, so what's this one doing on Earth? This encounter between the three Saiyans who have followed completely different destinies turns into a stupendous battle, with even Freeza (back from Hell) getting caught up in the mix."

Dragon Ball Super is available for streaming on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami still airs the English dub of Dragon Ball Super on Adult Swim Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. It's also available to stream on FunimationNOW and Amazon. The upcoming Dragon Ball Super film will be released in Japan on December 14 and it's expected to be released in US sometime in January 2019.
