Toei Animation released a 15-second teaser for the next Dragon Ball Super arc, Universal Survival Saga, on Wednesday. The preview clip shows bits of action-packed footage as well as glimpses of new characters that the Z-fighters might be fighting in the upcoming tournament. The setup kind of reminds me of YuYu Hakusho's team-based tournament. Watch the teaser below:

According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called "Chikara no Taikai" (Tournament of Power). But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe's elite warriors?
The promotion image for the arc features Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin, Android 17, Android 18, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Master Roshi, and Majin Buu as Universe 7's most powerful team.
The FunimationNow, , , and streaming platforms will be simulcasting the series with English subtitles.
The new Dragon Ball Super arc will debut on February 5.
