Doctor Strange 2 Trailer Subtly Revealed a Kang The Conqueror Variant


The new trailer for Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness was heavily dissected by the fans who are looking for potential hints on what the story is going to be all about and the characters possibly making a cameo in the film.

The Doctor Strange sequel is definitely one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. The film is set to break a record for ‘having the most number of character cameos’ in the history of Marvel now that the arc of the Marvel movies focuses on the Multiverse timeline.

We saw what the Multiverse-focused arc can do to the Marvel Universe after Spiderman: No Way Home brought the former villains from different franchises from Sony together with the two Spiderman: Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

In Multiverse of Madness, rumors are circulating that certain characters could possibly be in the film. Marvel characters like Reed Richards, An Iron Man Variant, Deadpool, and Professor-X, seem to be confirmed by the trailer.

But the one really confusing figure in the film drives fans crazy. Wanda is seen fighting a yellow figure in the trailer and the fans cant figure out who is that character. Some rumors claim that it's the Human Torch or a Superior Iron Man Variant.

But here’s an exciting theory, the yellow figure is Iron Lad, A Variant of Kang The Conqueror.

If you look closely at the image, it looks like a black guy with a beard, that has a really close resemblance to Loki’s Jonathan Majors’ Kang The Conqueror debuted in the Loki series.

Nathaniel Richards or ‘ He Who Remains’ first debuted in the Loki series. Richards is the first variant of himself to alternate universes. Sylvie killed Richards at the end of the series and Richards has hinted at the last episode that lots of variants of him will appear.

In Marvel Comics, Iron Lad is the younger version of Kang The Conqueror. Iron Lad is a generation smarter, more advanced, and 10x better than Tony Stark’s Iron Man. Iron Lad ‘neuro-kinetic nano-metal’ armor that he can alter to create different shapes using only his thoughts. He can also fire different kinds of energy, create magnetic fields, and he can travel through time.

It's a possibility that we will see another variant of Nathaniel Richards in the Doctor Strange sequel. But there are still lots of theories about the film that will only be confirmed once Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness hits theaters on May 6, 2022.
