In a perfect world, shows like Dr. Death would not be possible. This is because the anthology series is based on true crimes involving the medical practitioners who have committed them.

The first season of Dr. Death follows the story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch. Meanwhile, the second season spotlights another physician, Dr. Paolo Macchiarini.

If Dr. Death gets renewed for a third season, the show may focus on a different serial killer in this field.

Although it is unofficial, our Dr. Death Season 3 predictions include a focus on another doctor who committed these crimes. Sadly, there are a handful of these doctors throughout history.

Even though they took the oath, they ended up breaking them over their desire to kill their patients.

It's also possible that the show will expand to include infamous nurses in history who have also been considered serial killers.

If this is the case, we could be seeing people like Charles Cullen, Stephan Letter, or Miyuki Ishikawa.

If the show keeps its focus on doctors, it's possible that the next doctor to be highlighted in the series is Dr. Harold Shipman.

This is because Dr. Shipman is known as one of the doctors with the highest number of victims ranging from upwards of 215. Most of his victims were elderly women.

Still, this did not stop investigators from believing that the doctor administered legal doses of morphine to some children he was taking care of.
