In Chapter 166, The Final Battle, the devils lose the bet against the heroes, which leads to Nikaido and Asu’s restoration.

This is after Caiman, along with the combined powers of En’s family, destroyed Holey’s tumor for good. Chidaruma concedes, and Nikaido and Caiman hug each other.

Here's the ending of Chapter 167 of the Dorohedoro manga, explained:

The title of Dorohedoro Chapter 167 is All-Star Sayonara, and it begins six months after the incident.

At the Central Department Store Ruins, the statue of Holey was crafted from ancient human bones and excavated from the pit that swallowed the central department store.

This pit became known as the “Dumping Lake." Then, a cemetery for those who died in the store was shown.

Caiman buys a medium-sized, holey souvenir that contains fragments of ancient bones. The seller shared that the souvenir is quite useful as a sorcerer repellent, even though they never checked it themselves.

Afterward, Caiman showed his newly bought souvenir to Nikaido, and the latter collapsed to the ground, proving its effectiveness.

In the hospital, Caiman and Nikaido come across Mister Coleman, but they never talk. Caiman told Nikaido that he would someday face the old man.

Caiman and Nikaido meet with Vaux, who’s complaining about being broke. Caiman handed Vaux the souvenir and asked why he wanted one, to which the latter answered that he just had to have one.

Vaux revealed that he examined Caiman’s body and confirmed that he doesn’t have a devil tumor.

The discussion then switches to Professor Kusakabe, who became a zombie back at the black house.

Vaux wants Caiman to look for the professor because he may have some ideas about what happened. However, he’s still missing in action.

That’s when Shin and Noi appeared and told Caiman that he’d pay him back for taking care of them. He handed them some gold bars, which Vaux thinks he can use to fix the hospital. Noi also gave Vaux some smoke.

Before leaving, Shin talked with Caiman, saying that the cross-eyes’ boss living inside of him had died. He also thinks that Caiman is a different man now, so he’ll let him off the hook.

Nothing is keeping Shin in the hole anymore, so Noi thinks that Shin can keep being a sorcerer and stay with her.

Fujita, on the other hand, is standing at Matsumara’s grave, wondering if he has avenged him or not. He took off his shoes and got a new pair of dorky-looking shoes.

Everyone is busy tidying up En’s mansion, including Chota and the others, who are surprised to see more survivors from the Rain and the Cross-Eyes than they thought.

En has been working too hard and overexerting himself every day to rebuild what the Cross-Eyes destroyed.

At Tanba restaurant, Tanba asked Kirion if he wanted to start working again. The president assured Kirion that he doesn’t need to worry since no one cares about him already.

Kirion then remarks that he ain’t going anywhere after Asuka urges him to go and leave.

In Hell, Chidaruma has been sentenced to live as a human for the next 5,000 years.

Chidaruma turned into a vulnerable human baby, and his memory as well as his power have been erased.

They released the infant Chidaruma and told him to go wherever he wished to go, for soon, he’d be called by the name they gave him.

We then see Caiman and Nikaido walking with Johnson. They part ways, and Johnson eventually reunites with Haze after the latter leaves Haru.

Caiman and Nikaido then encounter Asu and Risu. They told Caiman and Nikaido that they had decided to take the devil exam together, so they probably wouldn’t see them for a while.

Risu told Caiman that when he becomes a devil, he’ll change his face back to how it was, but Caiman refused.

At the Hungry Bug, Caiman and Nikaido tell each other how glad they are to be friends.
