Speculation that Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter might be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown strong after the British actress paid Marvel Studios a visit earlier this week.
It's been a while since fans have seen Peggy on the big screen and there have been rumors going around that Captain America's first love interest might actually make an appearance in the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War after she popping up in the special Infinity War montage at the Marvel Studios panel at the San Diego Comic Con last month.
Now, it seems like there's even more evidence pointing to Atwell's return. On Monday, Marvel Studios Co-Presdient Louis D'Espinosa shared two pictures of the British actress – one seemingly taken in his office and the other in front of the Howling Commandos wall mural.

Of course, it's also likely that Atwell could have dropped by Marvel Studios for some other business aside from making a return to the MCU, but that's hard to believe especially when fans at SDCC get to see old Peggy Carter transform into her younger self in Marvel's Infinity War montage after the video starts focusing on the Time Stone.
