After Spider-Man: No Way Home delivered some of the best fan service bits we've seen off of any Marvel Cinematic Universe film in recent memory — Avengers: Endgame included, it looks like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is ready to top what the last MCU film was able to accomplish. Marvel Studios released a brand new trailer for the Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen team-up film and it finally confirmed that other characters from the comic book giant's past film properties are headed to the billion-dollar franchise.
One blockbuster cameo fans are extremely, or should I say X-tremely thrilled about is Patrick Stewart's Professor X who was heard speaking to Strange during one moment in the teaser. Turns out, the founder of the mutant academy is showing up in the film as a member of the famed team called the Illuminati, a group consisting of Marvel heroes who formed a secret society.
Now that the X-Men legend has found his way into the MCU, a lot of fans are beyond convinced that he is bringing Hugh Jackman's Wolverine with him. And while the latest Multiverse of Madness dropped zero clues about Logan's possible involvement, some people believe that the rich history he shares with Charles Xavier is enough to warrant him a cameo spot in what is being said to be Marvel's biggest film yet in terms of character count.

Considering Jackman's Wolverine was always present in all of Stewart's FoxVerse appearances, it stands to reason that the two mutant allies could in fact show up together in Multiverse of Madness. It's also worth noting that the film is rumored to include a scene where Wanda Maximoff fights off a multiversal version of the Avengers and it may very well include the legendary X-Men member. For now, it's all just speculation so obviously, we'll just have to wait and see.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits cinemas on May 6, 2022.
