Time flies when you're having fun. Now that 2023 is coming to a close, Spotify has recently released its annual Spotify Wrapped for users to recall the songs and artists they listened to for most of this year. That said, do Amazon Music listeners get a yearly recap, too?

Who doesn't want a retrospective of what went down the past year? Spotify Wrapped has become one of the biggest features listeners look forward to on the platform.

Not only does it display your top songs and artists of the year, but even down to data-specific details such as your best and most-listened-to genres, audio auras, and even 'listening personality types.'

Spotify launched its 'yearly recap' in 2013, where users get to see their 'Year in Review' since the music app can just as easily use the streaming data from their subscribers' usage time.

It was in 2016 when Spotify called the data stories 'Wrapped' and it's been there since.

By 2022, Spotify Wrapped had artists record thank-you messages for their top listeners, making it all the more personalized for their subscribers. The artists included personal messages from Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, John Mayer, BLACKPINK, Lizzo, and more.

While 2023's Spotify Wrapped has arrived, Amazon Music listeners couldn't help but chime in and demand that the platform release its yearly recap, too:

So, the question is, does Amazon Music do a yearly recap similar to Spotify Wrapped?

See, the thing is, not everyone can afford to subscribe to Spotify to listen to their favorite songs un-downloadable elsewhere. Believe it or not, Amazon Music is a cheaper option.

Back in 2022, Amazon Music opened up its full catalog of songs ad-free and downloadable, as long as you have an Amazon Prime membership.

The package allows its users to shuffle any artist, album, or playlist, but not the exact song they want to play when they want to hear it.

However, this year is changing things up for Amazon Music subscribers. While the platform opened up to Prime subscribers from 2 million free songs up to 100 million, it doesn't have an intuitive Yearly Recap as Spotify does.

In their My Year in Review, Amazon Music offers that the platform customizes its playlist for you in the Library tab, where you can check out all the songs you listened to for the whole year.

Unfortunately, this doesn't include analytics. If you're looking for HD-quality listening, then subscribing to Amazon Music Unlimited might be just for you.

Amazon Prime members can subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited for $9.99 per month, $99 per year. Meanwhile, non-Amazon Prime customers pay $10.99 a month.
