Doctor Who Season 11 Is Getting Another Time Slot

It looks like Doctor Who fans are in for another time switch because David Attenborough's new show is forcing a change of schedule for the 11th season of the modern take on BBC's longest-running science fiction series.

According to Express, Doctor Who is going to switch its time slot again the next couple of weeks to make room for David Attenborough's new Sunday night show. Featuring Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor in the Time Lord's franchise, the BBC hit series also had to change its schedule when season 11 started, moving from its usual time slot on Saturday to Sunday.

Now, the series is to experience its second switch in the schedule, airing Doctor Who's upcoming Kerblam! episode at 6:30 pm on Sunday, November 18, 2018. BBC's other Sunday shows, Strictly Come Dancing, is also to air at an earlier time slot, shifting to a 7:30 pm screening to make way for Attenborough's Dynasties. The show is set to launch next Sunday, November 18.

Before the show's launch, Doctor Who will stick to its usual schedule to air the next season 11 episode, Demons of the Punjab.

Here's the synopsis of the episode:

"‘What's the point of having a mate with a time machine if you can't nip back and see your gran when she was younger?' India, 1947. This Doctor and her friends arrive in the Punjab, as the country is being torn apart. While Yaz attempts to discover her grandmother's hidden history, the Doctor discovers demons haunting the land. Who are they and what do they want?"

This is definitely an exciting time for Doctor Who fans. Whittaker is the first ever female iteration of everyone's favorite Time Lord, and so far there's been nothing but great reviews.

Doctor Who is set to air Demons of the Punjab next Sunday at 7 pm on BBC One.
