Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness just introduced one of the characters that will make-it-or-break-it in the franchise for the next few years and America Chavez is really one of a kind. The writer of the movie teases whether she is a nexus being or not.
A nexus being is a rare individual who can have an effect on the probability of the future which could alter the Universal Time Stream or the future. Nexus beings are crucial to the coherence and stability of time itself.
From the Utopian Parallel, America Chavez is one-of-a-kind because there is no one in the multiverse like she can as she could punch star-shaped portals to travel from one universe to another. She knows of it when she confirms that she never dreams and jumps through various universes, she never saw a variant of herself. This only means that she is the only one in existence.
Being rare is already checked, but does America Chavez affect the Universal Time Stream and the stability of time itself? Well, she could possibly do so when incursions happen. Carefully wielding America's powers would not alter time, but if not used right, she brings in chaos.

In a chat with ScreenRant, the screenwriter of the movie, Michael Waldron, speaks up on America’s status as a nexus being,"That's a good question. And I think that's the sort of thing that that I'd like to see explored in the next chapter of America's story. Clearly, she's a very significant being in the universe. Whether you want to call her a Nexus Being or whatever. I think that's all stuff that's up for grabs as we continue to explore her story."
If and when she becomes delared as a nexus being, America Chavez will be on the same ranks with a few exceptional individuals such as the Scarlet Witch herself, Kang the Conqueror, Franklin Richards, Jean Gray, and Vision from a different universe.
With America finally training with the sorcerers of Kamar Taj, hopefully, she can learn to fully control her powers and harness energy and power at the same time for the greater good.
