Spider-Man: No Way Home will finally introduce us to the wondrous Marvel Multiverse but we all know that's just the tip of the iceberg as the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel is where all the chaos will take place. Rumor has it that we'll be getting our first taste of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness before the year ends but it turns out, the official trailer, which serves as the post-credit scene for No Way Home has already leaked online.
It's unclear when exactly the film takes place but the central plot of it revolves around Doctor Strange trying to find his way into the multiverse and understand the entire concept of it with the help of Wanda Maximoff aka the Scarlet Witch. Speaking of Wanda, the leak offers us our first look at her upgraded full-sleeved suit and it looks like she'll wreak havoc not only in Earth-616 through her use of the Darkhold.
The trailer, which also features the return of Baron Mordo and the debut of America Chavez ends with the shocking reveal that What If's Doctor Strange Supreme aka the "evil" Strange has found his way to the main MCU timeline and his chilling appearance tells us that things are really about to go down! You can check out the trailer here but of course, watch at your own risk.

It looks like Marvel Studios is making good on its Doctor Strange 2 promise and judging by the stuff we've seen from the leaked teaser so far, it's going to be an even crazier crossover event than the much-raved-about Spider-Man: No Way Home. All I can say is my body is ready for more multiversal mayhem.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is currently scheduled for release on May 6, 2022.
