Doctor Strange Director Implores Fans Not to Watch Tenet in Theaters

Tenet is going to be showing in theaters soon and though a number of fans are excited about the move, a lot of other people are terrified about more pandemic cases that could come as a result of this event. Despite AMC Theaters claiming that they will uphold all of the standard government protocols made, people still aren't too hot about the Tenet screening happening, including Doctor Strange director Scott Derickson.

On Twitter, Derickson advised people to not watch Tenet or any other movie that might end up showing since there's still a big COVID-19 risk. Some people agreed, while others claimed that it was their right to watch a movie, which is probably frustrating. We wouldn't be too surprised if these people also hated wearing masks but those are just mean assumptions from yours truly.

Just to be clear, we're sure Derickson isn't ripping on the latest movie from Christoper Nolan. I think he just wants people to stay home and help flatten the curve, which a lot of folks don't want to do for some reason. Sadly, we're in an age where stupidity reigns, which has resulted in people saying things like "COVID-19 is fake" and "I shouldn't have to wear a mask." Yikes.

If you're willing to risk your health and the health of others, Tenet will be showing in AMC Theaters on September 3. Derickson won't be directing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness but he will be producing it.
