Marvel Studios is the gift that keeps on giving and the fans who tuned in during Sunday's Super Bowl LV weren't disappointed following the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness latest trailer. The mind-blowing teaser for Sam Raimi's Marvel comeback challenges everything you think you know about the franchise and as it stands, fans are currently picking the trailer apart in search of clues and other Easter Eggs most of us might've missed the first time around.

But one of the film's biggest surprises wasn't featured in the trailer itself. In fact, it was actually hiding in plain sight on the official poster Marvel Studios released to coincide with the spectacular teaser's premiere. Turns out, the rumors of Hayley Atwell's Captain Carter appearing in the film might actually be true as her shield is featured on the brand new poster for the Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen epic.

For the uninitiated, Captain Carter is a variant of Earth-616's Peggy Carter who happens to be her reality's version of Captain America. She made her official MCU appearance on the first episode of the animated spinoff What If...? which explored several alternate timelines within the multiverse.
