Kora and Gunnar's Journey in Rebel Moon Part One
Kora (played by Sofia Boutella) and Gunnar's (Michiel Huisman) relationship started the moment they set out to Providence in hopes of building a team that could face Admiral Atticus Noble while protecting the farmers on Veldt.
Rebel Moon Part 1: A Child of Fire brought Gunnar into the light when he gathered up his courage for once.
Not only had he told the truth about how he felt about Kora, but he was also able to put his own safety at risk by releasing the bolt from Kora's neck in the nick of time.
The first flick then left fans on the edge of what's to come in their future.
However, as seen from the official teaser of Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver, we get a glimpse of Kora and Gunnar finally kissing, which could mean one thing!

Rebel Moon Stars Tease Kora and Gunnar's Ending For Part Two
As previously mentioned, on the brink of death in Rebel Moon Part 1, Gunnar's romantic feelings towards Kora had been exposed before he even got the chance to tell her himself.
By Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver, Gunnar unravels more of Kora's past and the two have become more than friends, as teased from the initial flick and Rebel Moon creator Zack Snyder himself.
Even the Rebel Moon stars Sofia Boutella and Michiel Huisman recently teased about their characters' romance:
As Huisman explained, "What I'm very excited about for audiences to see is that the relationship between Gunnar and Kora deepens in Part Two."
"It's nice to see some romance in so much war," Boutella added, "I think it's a nice breath of fresh air and it's soothing."
Unfortunately, their love story wasn't built to be perfect or to last that long.
As Kora and Admiral Atticus Noble clash for a final swordfight showdown on Dreadnought, Gunnar arrives just in time to save Kora. Although she was able to behead Noble, Gunnar was shot by the Dreadnought.
