Disney+ Marvel Series' Episode Count Per Season Revealed

Marvel shows like Agents of SHIELD and Daredevil have been around for a while, but Marvel Studios is going to be way more involved when it comes to making miniseries for Disney+. There are four total shows that have been announced, and though we don't know much on the plot, we have a new idea of how many episodes to expect.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the miniseries coming to Disney+ will run for six to eight episodes each. This confirms a statement that Elizabeth Olsen said last week where she reveals that WandaVision will run for about six hours—basically six episodes.

Unlike the series coming from ABC and Marvel Netflix, these shows will be based on characters in the main MCU and will have a significant effect on their story in the main movie universe. Not to throw shade on previous Marvel TV shows, but everyone kind of knew that even if they did reference the films, the films kind of just ignored them anyway. The closest thing we have to an acknowledgment is probably James D'Arcy reprising his role as Jarvis the butler from Agent Carter in Avengers: Endgame.

For now, the Marvel series we're expecting are WandaVision, Loki, Falcon & Winter Soldier, plus a series said to be focused on Hawkeye training his daughter. We don't have any release dates for them yet, but maybe we can get our first show sometime next year.

For now, catch all these characters in Avengers: Endgame, now out in theaters.
