Beginning 2021, guests from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will have the chance to experience the galaxy far, far away like no other through its latest Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. This all-new immersive vacation showcases a cruise-like itinerary which spans two nights. It allows guests to become a hero of their own and experience the Star Wars universe 24/7 via interactive storytelling.
In a press release through the Disney Parks Blog, the new concept art of the experience was released and features a large building lined with trees and shrubs. This serves as the Starcruiser terminal from which guests will enter an exclusive launch pod to travel up to the Halycon. While in these pods, it will feel as though you are traveling through space probably similar to that of being in the Millennium Falcon.
The itinerary also includes what it calls a "Black Spire Outpost" wherein guests may travel to Batuu, which also serves as the main destination for the Galaxy's Edge attraction. Going to and from both attractions will be quite interesting seeing as that according to the release, guests full remain in full story with the help of the transport ships designed especially for these experiences. The Outpost will also ultimately allow guests to explore the 14-acre land at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
According to a report from WDW News Today, a cabin at the attraction will be priced at $3,300 for one person for a two to three-night stay. These cabins can sleep up to five people, but are also available for maxing out.
