Disney Uses Photorealistic Marvel And Star Wars Avatars For Disney+

Disney+ might have two months to go before its big launch, but Disney's made its streaming site available for a free trial run in the Netherlands, and now fans can see what the Mickey Mouse House has to offer on its upcoming streaming platform.

For the past few days, Disney fans in the Netherlands have been sharing different photos of the features being offered on Disney+. Not only have we been able to see the different Star Wars poster designs that Disney has prepared for the new streaming site, but we also have a brand new look at the different icons that fans can use when they get their own Disney+ subscription.

Disney has all sorts of new icons for Disney+ subscribers to choose from – there are images of characters from Disney films like The Lion King and from Frozen, there are images of characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and there are pictures from Star Wars villains and heroes. What's more interesting is that the icons that Disney has on the site are pretty photorealistic, giving fans a good look at the face of recognizable actors and actresses.

Marvel fans can choose icons featuring heroes like Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, the Wasp, Groot, and Rocket Racoon. Star Wars fans can choose from characters like Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Yoda, Chewbacca, BB-8, C-3PO, R2-D2, a First Order Stormtrooper, as well as characters and droids from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

There really is a lot to look forward to with Disney+.

Disney+ launches on November 12, 2019.
