Disney+ Users are Cancelling Memberships Now that Star Wars: The Mandalorian’s First Season is Over

Star Wars: The Mandalorian did such an excellent job of uniting fans and critics together. Not only did fans seem to fall in love with the doe-eyed Baby Yoda and Pedro Pascal's quiet Mandolorian, but critics seemed to fall in love with the series as well, rating all of the episodes as Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

However, now that The Mandalorian's completed its first season on Disney+, fans have begun on disconnecting from the Mickey Mouse House's streaming platform. Taking to social media, fans have begun sharing their plans to cancel their membership with Disney's new streaming site, explaining that they plan on returning to Disney+ once the platform starts adding more original series.

Check out some of the tweets down here:

These fans seem to be rather unbending. They're going to cancel Disney+ without fail. While we can't seem to change their minds, we understand why fans would want to exit from Disney+ now that The Mandalorian's completed its very first season. These fans may not want to spend the extra money on Disney+ without any other series to keep them busy.

Right now Lucasfilm is preparing two different other shows for Star Wars fans. One is a Rogue One prequel series featuring Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), the other is the highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series promising the return of Ewan McGregor as everyone's favorite high-ground Jedi Knight. Unfortunately, it seems like Lucasfilm has yet to announce the release date for both live-action series, so fans have to wait a while before the shows come on.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian is available for streaming on Disney+. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is currently screening in cinemas.
