Disney Reportedly Aiming For Successful Hawkeye Disney+ Series

While most of us are unsure about the original six Avengers' fate (aside from Black Widow), it looks like Disney+ may have just spoiled a possible outcome for us. If this is true, it looks like Hawkeye is going to make it out alive from Avengers: Endgame and get his own series. This also means that we will be seeing more of Jeremy Renner's iteration of the character, which should make MCU fans happy.

According to Variety, this will be a limited series where Clint Barton will pass the torch and mantle to fan-favorite character Kate Bishop, who also goes by Hawkeye in the comic books. Though she is known as a member of the Young Avengers, the character has teamed up with Clint Barton a number of times.

Disney has yet to comment on this but fans are probably hoping this comes true. After all, everyone who has read the comics loves Kate Bishop and it would also be awesome to see an MCU iteration of the Young Avengers. The group hasn't really had any bad comic books and their creator, Allan Heinberg, has written for movies before (including Wonder Woman) so let's Marvel can get him to pen the script for them.

No release date for the Hawkeye series has been announced. Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
