In case you've been living under a rock all these months, former mixed martial arts fighter-turned-Hollywood star Gina Carano has been ousted from Disney and Lucasfilm following her controversial statements she's been airing on social media for months now. Over a month following the controversial termination from The Mandalorian actress from the Star Wars universe, fans are still buzzing about it, and understandably so.

That's not to say though that Gina's career is over because the folks over at The Daily Wire, mainly Ben Shapiro have given her a brand new opportunity to direct, produce, and star in her own feature-length film. Prior to her firing, Carano was reportedly set to appear in multiple Star Wars projects outside of The Mandalorian but the situation opted Lucasfilm to go back to square one.

Apparently, The Mandalorian wasn't Carano's final commitment as part of the Lucasfilm roster. Prior to her internet-breaking removal from the company, the actress actually filmed an episode of National Geographic's hit survival reality TV show Running Wild with Bear Grylls for its upcoming sixth season.

In fact, Carano even hyped up her upcoming episode earlier this year on social media but as it turns out, her supposed appearance on the show has been shelved. According to an updated listing from TVMaze (via Bounding Into Comics), Carano's episode has been removed from Season 6's slate and of course, it doesn't take a genius to connect the dots on this one.

Disney has yet to address the matter but it's safe to assume that they thought Carano's removal from the show would go unnoticed. Naturally, Disney's move may come across as something "petty" to a lot of people but from a business standpoint, I do understand how the company trying its best to distance itself from the former Cara Dune actress taking into consideration how messy her firing from the Star Wars franchise was. I guess the bad blood between the two is too intense.

Meanwhile, The Mandalorian's third season will begin production this April.
