The Mandalorian Season 3's Chapter 22 felt like a huge fever dream to a lot of viewers as it featured cameo appearances from celebrities we never expected to show up in the Star Wars universe.
Apart from Christopher Lloyd's involvement as Commissioner Helgait which was already confirmed months prior to the season's release, "Guns for Hire" also saw the unlikely duo of Jack Black and Lizzo bring their brand of comedy to a galaxy far, far away, playing Plazir-15's rulers, Captain Bombardier and the Duchess.
Despite Black and Lizzo's cameos receiving a polarizing reception from the fandom, the comedic pair along with the Back to the Future icon could end up bringing home awards for their brief but memorable MandoVerse involvement.
Disney Officially Launches 2023 Emmy Awards Campaign for The Mandalorian Season 3
Disney recently launched its "For Your Consideration" page (via The Direct) campaigning for The Mandalorian Season 3 to be recognized at this year's 75th Primetime Emmy Awards. Aside from Black, Lizzo, and Lloyd, Ahmed Best is also in contention for the "Guest Actor in a Drama Series" award.

There's no denying that The Mandalorian Season 3 was shrouded in controversy but that's not to say that it's no longer worthy of adding more accolades under its belt.
We're keeping our expectations high though that Season 4 will be a step up to its predecessor.
