The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major concern within the comic book movie fandom but thankfully, the folks over at Marvel Studios are doing everything in their power to deliver us content after content despite everything that has been going on in the world. Of course, we're still far away from normalcy but the studio is slowly attempting to bring the Marvel Cinematic Universe back to the theaters where it belongs.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is currently riding a massive wave of momentum as it continues to dominate cinemas but some fans are still left in the dark regarding the release model for another Phase Four offering — Eternals. Disney has yet to make things official but according to a new rumor, the film could follow the same release strategy as Shang-Chi.

Tipster and former The Hollywood Reporter editor Matthew Belloni revealed through his What I'm Hearingnewsletter that Disney has officially decided to give Eternals an exclusive run in cinemas, dropping any chance of it being available via Disney+'s Premier Access. The move was reportedly influenced by the triumph of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings which shattered box office records during Labor Day weekend.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' current box office performance pretty much solidify that Disney could still draw money even without the help of Disney+'s Premier Access feature. More importantly, it also proves that fans are more than willing to go through the wire just to get their MCU fix, despite the current COVID-19 situation which isn't all that surprising.

Marvel Studios' Eternals will hit cinemas on November 5th.
