It's no secret to many that Johnny Depp has been having arguably the worst time of his life over the last couple of months. However, despite all the controversies surrounding his personal life, there are still folks who believe in the ex-FantasticBeasts star and choose to stand with him amid her heated legal battle with former spouse Amber Heard.

French luxury brand Dior is siding with Depp despite the pressure to drop him from their existing contract. Johnny has been the face of their fragrance line for about five years now and it seems like severing their ties with the ever-so-controversial actor is the last thing on their mind. However, the company's PR expert Mark Bokowski (via The Guardian) believes it would be best for them to let go of the actor. He said, "I think it would be sensible for Dior to sever links with Depp. Anything can be stopped by pressing a button if they really wanted to."

Keeping Depp as their brand ambassador seemed to have had a positive effect on Dior's sales. Instead of the decision backfiring because of the issue, it seems to have a good impact. In fact, Dior Sauvage has seen a 23% increase in its internet searches. It is also currently the best-selling male perfume at shops like The Perfume Shop and The Fragrance Shop.

Fans are lauding the luxury brand for choosing to keep Johnny as the face of their brand when companies like Warner Bros. and Disney didn't hesitate to sever their ties with them when the issue blew up. See some of the reactions below:

A lot of people are still clearly rallying behind Depp despite all the allegations thrown at him and one can only assume how the actor is feeling right now with the outpour of love, support, and admiration he's been getting not only from fans but from the companies that still believe in him.
