Diego Luna Opens Up About His MCU Casting Rumor

For the past couple of months, we've been hearing several rumors about the casting for the MCU's Fantastic Four with several names attached that are being allegedly cast to play the key roles in the film. So far, Marvel Studios has not responded nor confirmed any of the rumors and they remained mum on the casting of the First Family.

One of the names that is being rumored to have been cast in Fantastic Four is Andor star Diego Luna as Reed Richards. Now, in a recent interview with YouTuber Kristian Harloff, the actor opened up about his MCU casting rumor where he acknowledged that he has seen his name attached to it.

"I just like the... I was talking about that this morning, like the rumors. When you become part of rumors, like, if half of the rumors were real, you know. It’s just incredible the amount of stuff that I see now out there," he said.

However, the Andor actor played coy about whether he is indeed getting cast to star in Fantastic Four although he teased that he will be busy in the next two years.

Luna continued, "The only thing I can tell you is that, for the next two years, I’m busy. And in two years, we’ll see if what I want to do is even film. We'll see if where that leads us."

Just like any responses that we've seen from actors whenever they get asked questions like this, Luna didn't give any definitive answer regarding his potential involvement in the MCU, but it did open up the possibility even further since it sounds like he is interested to be part of it.

It's always great to see an actor of his caliber join the franchise so a lot of fans wouldn't definitely mind if ever he'll cast to either play Reed Richards or any other roles. For now, all we can do is wait and see whether this rumor will come to fruition or we'll hear another name instead.
