Did the SH Figuarts Just Reveal Another Captain Marvel Look?

We know based on the first trailer for Captain Marvel that Carol Danvers' Kree outfit will come with the iconic "Mohawk helmet," but it looked like it was just a neat little easter egg for anyone who read the comics. Interestingly enough, some new promo pics for Marvel's SH Figuarts figure kind of confirms that Danvers will still have the helmet with her updated look.

Check it out:

We don't know how the helmet actually factors into the movie, so I'm guessing that it's actually part of the Kree suit that Danvers is wearing. When the suit ‘transforms' within the film, I guess it's going to translate over to the helmet as well.

Then again, I think it's also possible that this alternate head is just a treat that Bandai is giving us with the figure. They probably have a figure in the works with Carol in her original green suit, and I'm guessing it's that one that comes with the helmet. So as to just give the upcoming figure more accessories, why not throw in the alternate head with a different color scheme?

Of course, it's still possible that this suit is going to appear in the film. Out of everything in the Figuarts line for Marvel, I don't think they've produced anything that isn't screen-accurate. It would be weird if they just started to do it now.

Who knows, maybe tonight's Captain Marvel trailer will confirm this new look?
