- Quick Answer: No official Rogue casting is confirmed, but the trailer features a background extra with her iconic white-streaked hair and green outfit as a likely easter egg.
Marvel has finally dropped the official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, giving viewers a glimpse of a more mature Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as he becomes isolated following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The trailer also features returning characters like Ned (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zendaya), as well as a host of villains: Scorpion (Michael Mando), Boomerang, Tarantula, and the Hand.
Fans are also speculating that a mysterious figure played by Sadie Sink could be Jean Grey, hinting that another X-Men character, possibly Rogue, may have made her debut in the MCU.
Does Rogue Appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer?
Fans are about to see an array of characters in Brand New Day, as teased by its trailer.
In fact, it also features the addition of the Punisher (Jon Bernthal) working alongside Spider-Man as they fight street crimes across New York City.
At one point, Spidey tries to stop a military vehicle while also controlling the Punisher to prevent him from killing the driver.
During the chase, he gets slammed against a bus, where a passenger, with the same iconic hairstyle as Rogue, can be seen sitting with her headphones on.
Sure, this X-Men character, who has the ability to steal the powers and memories of anyone she touches, has had several visual designs over the years.
But there’s no denying that her most consistent style features white bangs against brunette hair, coupled with a green-and-white outfit.
Evidently, these traits are seen on the woman in the bus in the Brand New Day trailer, hinting at her arrival in the MCU.
Will Rogue Make Her MCU Debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?

While it remains to be seen whether Rogue will actually appear in Brand New Day or if the woman on the bus is indeed her, it’s not unlikely – especially if Sadie Sink truly plays Jean Grey.
Despite the trailer being released, Marvel has kept her role under wraps.
But with the studio now working on an X-Men reboot and gradually introducing iconic mutants into the MCU, Jean Grey and Rogue will almost certainly be part of that lineup.
That said, even if the woman on the bus isn’t an official debut, it could serve as a subtle callback, hinting that Spider-Man is unknowingly encountering a young Rogue.
If it isn’t Rogue, Marvel may have intentionally made it ambiguous to spark fan speculation and conversation.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
