Jason Momoa answered several questions about his Apple+ TV series See Season 3 during its premiere Tuesday. He also answered several inquiries about his other movie projects, including Aquaman 2. However, he seemingly avoided a question that mentioned his controversial co-star Amber Heard.
Jason Momoa Talked About Patrick Wilson When Asked About Amber Heard And Aquaman 2
Jason Momoa spoke with Entertainment Tonight's Lauren Zima Tuesday night at the premiere of the third and final season of his Apple TV+ series See. During the interview, Zima mentioned, "All the hype, all the buzz, all the talk, what can we expect? Have you talked to Amber? How are things?"
"It's just laughs," Momoa said before describing his working relationship with co-star Patrick Wilson, who plays King Orm/Ocean Master in the film. "Me and Patrick, it's a bit of a brother's journey. It's a lot of funny stuff."
Momoa didn't reply if he talked to Heard, and he didn't mention her name. However, he may be referring to her when he said, "what's going on in her environment, talking about climate change and hitting on certain things that I want to hit on."
He concluded his Aquaman statement with, "Yeah, just a lot of laughs and also a lot of pain. Just a wonderful action."
While speaking with ET, he also shared his joy to play the role of a dad in a series. He admitted that he didn't have the opportunity to do so, despite being a dad of two. He shares two kids 15-year-old Lola and 13-year-old Nakoa-Wolf, with ex, Lisa Bonet.
"I didn't have the opportunity to play a dad in a series before...I love having a full arc. It's not just killed off in the first season, or it just doesn't end properly," he added.
"It's nice that it's three seasons, and it's catered to the final chapter, where you get to go through everything and see what happens, and it was intended that way," he added.
Jason Momoa Confirms Ben Affleck's Return As Batman In Aquaman 2
In the same event, Jason Momoa, came across with Access for another brief interview. They also talked about his kids, family stuff, his series See, and the last question was about him teasing Ben Affleck's potential return in Aquaman 2. Momoa had shared several posts of Affleck when he reshoot Aquaman 2, suggesting that Jennifer Lopez's husband could return as Batman in The Lost Kingdom. When asked about their reunion, Momoa said, "I love ben."
"I love him deeply," Momoa continued. "And yeah [explicit] Ben's coming back!"
The interviewer yelled, "yey" after he confirmed the news. "Hey! right here on Access! It's wonderful. We have a lot of surprises. It's so fun. It's a fun journey and a lot of laughs and I'm excited for everybody to see it."
When asked if he got an invite to Affleck and Lopez's wedding in Georgia, Momoa said he wasn't aware. However, he still sent his warm wishes to Affleck, saying, "Congratulations, bro."
When asked if he wasn't sad not to get an invite, Momoa said not at all because he was also working over the weekend and didn't have the chance to get in the mail.
In July, Momoa shared snaps of him grinning with Affleck by his side on Instagram. In the second photo, both were smiling. In the caption, he teased that Affleck was part of Aquaman 2 because it was the project he was working on at the time.
"REUNITED bruce and arthur. love u and miss u Ben WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright. busted on set all great things coming AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha j," he wrote in the caption.
