Descriptions for the Aquaman Teaser Screened at CinemaCon

Aquaman is the only DCEU movie coming out this year, and a lot of fans are disappointed that we haven't even gotten so much as a teaser for the film. Apparently, some footage was revealed at CinemaCon earlier this week, and Fandango's Erik Davis gives us some descriptions:

Besides descriptions of the teaser, we're also given some character descriptions for Black Manta and Mera. As it turns out, Aquaman will get a lot of saving from Mera, and Black Manta is described to be ‘very driven and has a reason for what he's doing.'

Like the Venom trailer with Sony, I'm expecting this Aquaman footage will drop sometime this week or maybe even next month. When probed about the lack of a teaser before, James Wan had said that he didn't want to showcase anything until the CGI was absolutely ready.

After the fiasco that was Justice League, Warner Bros had to take a long hard look at where they were taking the DC property in the future. Though we only get Aquaman this year, next year will see the release of Shazam!, Wonder Woman 2, and possibly the all-female Birds of Prey movie.

Catch Aquaman in theaters Dec. 20.
