It seems like fans are so hyped up about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2. However, Hiro Shimono has another thing to be excited about this year. The Zenitsu Agatsuma voice actor has shared an awesome personal update with fans of the anime.
Shimono has already gone through a lot in the past year. Back in July, the Attack on Titan voice actor was revealed to have tested positive for COVID-19. Luckily, Shimono recovered and has since resumed working on his several anime roles.
Amazingly, Shimono has another exciting update about his personal life this year. The My Hero Academia star shared in an interview that he and his wife had welcomed their second child last summer. In addition to that, it was confirmed that Shimono has been married for 10 years.
When pressed why he hasn't shared these details about his personal life, Shimono stated that he felt that people wouldn't be interested in such news. He also insisted that he wasn't famous enough for his personal life to be considered news.
Shimono is certainly a humble actor and people respect his privacy. Nevertheless, Demon Slayer fans are truly happy for the voice actor now that his family has grown bigger. Congratulations to Shimono and his wife on the birth of their second child!
He might be busy taking care of a new baby but that doesn't mean Shimono isn't also hard at work. Shimono is set to return as Zenitsu in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2, which premieres on October 10, 2021.
