Demon Slayer VR Clip Lets You Take on Akaza in Epic Rengoku Fight

There is little doubt that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has its fair share of amazing fights but fans will be quick to point out that the showdown between Akaza and Rengoku Kyojuro is the best one in the anime so far. But do you want to know what it was like to take on an Upper Rank demon? A new VR clip lets you experience the epic Mugen Train fight firsthand!

The highlight of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie - Mugen Train was the stunning face-off between Akaza and Rengoku Kyojuro. After all, it confirmed that Upper Rank demons are on a completely different level while also showing off the Flame Hashira's skills.

But what was it like to fight Akaza? YouTuber Comickey shared a VR clip complete with dialogue and music from the iconic Mugen Train scene. The project allows users with the VR headsets to live out their dream to be the heroic Rengoku Kyojuro but without the injuries inflicted by Akaza.

It's an awesome treat for fans and Comickey is quick to point out that it wasn't easy. The YouTuber confirmed they worked on the 3D scene for a month but it's clear that all that hard work had paid off.

Although the Akaza vs Rengoku fight is currently the fiercest fight in the anime, an ongoing showdown could soon take its place. Demon Slayer Season 2's Entertainment District arc is now on its fifth episode where Tanjiro Kamado uses Hinokami Kagura while taking on Daki. Tanjiro is still struggling to defeat the Upper Rank demon but will he finally succeed? We may find out next week.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 13 is also the sixth episode of the Entertainment District arc. Episode 6 is titled Layered Memories ("Kasanaru Kioku") which is a reference to the manga's 81st chapter. It will premiere on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 11:15 PM JST.
