It has been a long wait for the second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Although fans recently got to enjoy the film sequel to Season 1, we're all eager to find out what happened after the events in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train. Luckily, the Demon Slayer Season 2 release date has been set for Fall this year.
Back in February, the first teaser for Demon Slayer Season 2 was dropped and it confirmed that the second season will premiere sometime in 2021. Since then, fans have been waiting for updates on the next season but were distracted by Mugen Train's North American theatrical release.
So when exactly is the Demon Slayer Season 2 release date? Yahoo! Japan has confirmed that Kimetsu no Yaiba - Yukaku-hen will air on Fuji TV in October this year.
This is great news for fans who have been waiting for the second season for some time now. After all, it has been almost two years since Season 1 concluded and almost a year since Mugen Train premiered in Japan. Needless to say, we can't wait to see what happens next for Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps this fall.
Demon Slayer Season 2 is officially titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Yukaku-hen. The second season of the anime series has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to premiere on Fuji TV in mid-October 2021. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
