Demon Slayer Drops Epic Live-Action Poster Featuring Muzan Kibutsuji

There is little doubt that Muzan Kibutsuji has only appeared sporadically in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga and anime. However, the powerful demon takes centerstage and looms over the Demon Slayer Corps in a new live-action poster.

The live-action poster actually features Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, and Zenitsu in the foreground. Behind them, the Hashiras is shown looking up at the Lower Moon Five Demon Rui. However, it is Muzan who looms over all of them in the key visual. Check it out below.

The poster is actually for the stage play Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the 2nd: Bonds. The play, which is the second stage play adaptation of the manga, is expected to adopt the fight against Rui and the Spider Family on Mount Natagumo.

The first Demon Slayer stage play was performed in early 2020 and was scripted and directed by Kenichi Suemitsu. The second play will bring back the cast from the first play.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the 2nd: Bonds will bring back Ryota Kobayashi as Tanjiro, Akari Takaishi as Nezuko, Keisuke Ueda as Zenitsu, Yūgo Satō as Inosuke, Reo Honda as Giyū Tomioka, Tomoyuki Takagi as Sakonji Urokodaki, and Yoshihide Sasaki as Muzan Kibutsuji.

They will be joined by Hiroshi Yasaki as Kyojuro Rengoku, Ryoshiro Tsuji as Tengen Usui, Yumeta Okuda as Muichiro Tokito, Yoko Kadoyama as Shinobu Kocho, Akari Kawasaki as Mitsuri Kanroji, Kosuke Miyamoto as Obanai Iguro, Ryutaro Maeda as Sanemi Shinazugawa, Changhae as Gyomei Himejima, Mirai Uchida as Kanao Tsuyuri, Nichika Akutsu as Rui, and Tomoki Hirose as Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the 2nd: Bonds will run in Tokyo from August 7–15, in Osaka from August 20–22, and then again in Tokyo from August 27–31.
